Straight From the Dead

Queasy stomaches beware!

Back in his funeral home days, my father-in-law took care of the body of a man who had died while lying on his back with his arms straight out. I guess it had been a while before they found him because rigor mortis had set in and his arms were stiff by his side. In order to transport him, they pulled his stiff arms to his body and strapped them down.

Creepy Alert!

When my father-in-law was taking care of the body, one of the arms (still stiff) came loose and hit him in the back! Can you imagine literally being hit by a dead person?! Dad said that he knew what had happened but his feet ran for a few blocks before he could get them to stop and he could finally brake out in to hysterical laughter.
